Service Terms
These terms apply to use of the Car Repair Anywhere website and its service-request text messages. Specific repair scope, estimates, parts, authorizations, payment requirements, and warranty coverage will be documented for each job.
Website information
Website content is general information and is not a diagnosis, estimate, repair authorization, or promise that a particular service can be performed. Services depend on the vehicle, its condition, parts and equipment requirements, accessibility, weather, location, and whether work can be completed safely.
Requests and scheduling
Submitting a form or sending a message does not confirm an appointment. Service is available day or night subject to Robert's availability. An appointment is confirmed only through direct communication with Robert. No repair should begin until the customer receives the applicable estimate and authorizes the work.
Car Repair Anywhere service-request text messages
The SMS consent checkbox on the service-request forms is optional. By checking that box, you agree that Robert Archer, doing business as Car Repair Anywhere, may send texts to the mobile number you provide about that specific request. Messages may confirm receipt, ask follow-up questions about your vehicle or repair, discuss an estimate, or coordinate service. Leaving the box unchecked does not prevent you from submitting a request or receiving service, and no customer-facing SMS messages will be sent through this campaign without your consent. This is not a recurring marketing or promotional program. Message frequency varies based on your request. Message and data rates may apply.
To opt out, reply STOP at any time. After opting out, we will not send further service-request texts unless you submit a new request and provide SMS consent again. For help, reply HELP or call Robert at (818) 632-2603. Consent is not a condition of purchasing a repair. You may call Robert instead of using the SMS request form. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text delivery depends on your mobile carrier and messaging providers. The website also sends Robert an SMS notification containing the details you submitted so he can respond. That business notification is separate from the text messages sent to you. Submitting a request is not an appointment confirmation or repair authorization.
Hourly rates and minimums
Day Service is billed at $100 per hour with a one-hour minimum. Night Service is billed at $100 per hour with a two-hour minimum. Parts, materials, taxes, special equipment, and other approved job-specific charges are separate unless the written quote states otherwise.
Quotes and authorization
Rates and availability are provided after the requested work and location are reviewed. A quote may change if the vehicle, repair, location, parts requirements, or other material information differs from what the customer provided. Any change must be communicated and authorized before additional work proceeds. Website messages are inquiries and are not repair authorizations unless the communication expressly documents the specific work and authorization.
12-month / 12,000-mile guarantee
Completed repair work is guaranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles from the documented completion date and odometer reading, whichever comes first. Coverage applies to the specific repair and workmanship listed on the invoice. Robert must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and correct a claimed covered issue. The guarantee does not extend to unrelated failures, normal wear outside the completed repair, collision or environmental damage, misuse, subsequent modification or repair by another party, or the failure of a customer-supplied part; workmanship associated with installing a customer-supplied part remains covered unless otherwise stated in writing.
Safe work location
The customer must provide lawful access and a reasonably safe, stable, and adequate work area. Service may be declined, paused, or rescheduled when the location, traffic, weather, vehicle position, people, animals, or other conditions create a safety concern. Robert may decline work that cannot be completed confidently and safely under the available conditions.
No roadside or emergency guarantee
Car Repair Anywhere is not a towing service, emergency-response service, or substitute for 911. Move to a safe location when possible. For a collision, fire, medical emergency, dangerous traffic condition, or immediate threat, contact the appropriate emergency service.
Third-party services
Telephone carriers, messaging providers, maps, payment providers, parts suppliers, and other third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
